Seat brackets are sold individually.
For a stern seat installation, you will need:

2 short brackets

2 long brackets
Placement:

The short brackets mount on the front rail of the stern seat.

The long brackets mount on the back rail of the stern seat.
Dave demonstrates this setup in the installation video. You can clearly see the two different bracket lengths on the seat as he installs it.
